I basically downloaded PCSX2 strictly for jak 3. I heard recently there have been new updates making it more playable and i was hoping someone could help me out with settings, so far ive looked up a bunch of videos and guides and all of them have slightly different options and just dont seem to be ideal for me.

CPU Specs: I7-6700

Graphics: msi nvidia 970

16gb ram

windows 10

Now in this state it actually runs fairly smooth just that weird dark shading on jak and daxter and so far anything ive tried that fixes that, essentially makes the game significantly slower or worse looking.

EDIT: Current state, ended up messing with more stuff, game runs smoother but can randomly lag and also has all this weird graphical errors, ESPECIALLY in the desert / while driving

Edit 2: still using the settings in the first edit, game is playable but the desert is really buggy, anyone know a fix? Pic: http://puu.sh/tGaxC/f16c9865f3.jpg the black boxes just flutter and move and are pretty annoying while trying to play.

Still have the bad graphical issues in desert with openGL (http://puu.sh/tGjHD/397d56d936.jpg) BUT water seems to be fixed (no stripes), BUT atleast the game is a consistent playable speed with directx3D 11. OpenGL seems to just constantly go in and out of normal speed to slow-mo
